FREE Zine Programme, for 2SLGBTQIAP+, Deaf, Mad, disabled, BIPOC youth (13-29)!
ZIPE is an artist-led zine-making and a community-based arts program in partnership with Paperhouse Outreach Collective, SKETCH, Toronto Art Book Fair, the Non-Binary Colour Collective.
ZIPE is supported by the ArQuives, Art Metropole, OCAD University and 519 Community Centre, funded by Toronto Arts Council and the Ontario Arts Council.
We are looking for youth who are interested in:
Making your own zine (or two!)
Building skills on writing and story-telling
Learning how to express your ideas to magnify your voice in both words and imagery
Attaining skills in drawing, collaging, bookmaking, and other art making techniques.
Learning how to use a Risograph printer and other digital media skills.
Sharing and collaborating with like-minded peers.
ASL and accessibility accommodations
Tabling and selling opportunities in the Fall of 2019
It is FREE to attend with LIMITED spots available.
