NOTE: WE ARE PRIORTIZING BIPOC, LGBTQ, DEAFBLIND, DEAF & DISABLED FOLKS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROJECT.
ALSO, WE NEED MORE DEAF FAMILIES CANDIDATES (smile)
So excited about our “Deaf, what?” Project. @alicelo.photography and I have been collaborating together since summer, travelled to Montreal, Ottawa, London and visited with locals to get their headshots and stories told! We will have our exhibition at @tangled_arts gallery from Jan 18th to Feb 17! We will be heading to Vancouver next week. Two weeks after that, Calgary, then Halifax! If you or know someone who would be a great candidate for this project, please let me know via email email@example.com – the purpose of this project as stated in the bio, “The history of Canada’s treatment towards Deaf people include acts of audism, spanning more than a couple of centuries. It’s time for more visibility, awareness, and recognition. We are inviting you to explore our lives through our intersectional experiences in ‘Deaf, what?’ ” thank you to Tangled Art & Disability for making this project possible with funding to travel to different cities across Canada. Without your support, it wouldn’t be possible. #DeafTalent #DeafPhotographer #Deaf #DeafWhat#DeafDocumentary #DeafFilmMaker #DeafWhatProject #DeafPride#DeafInCanada #DeafCanadians
