Explore the possibilities of creating accessible sign language productions for d/Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and sign language users. Through practices in interpretation, shadowing and acting – this workshop compares multiple approaches using selected excerpts. Creating Sign Language Magic leads you through various methods of creating accessible sign language productions for d/Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and sign language users. Discover the multiple forms you can use to incorporate sign language into theatrical contexts including interpretation, shadowing, and performance. Presented in partnership with Generator and Deaf Spectrum.  Led with Sage Lovell, Thurga Kanagasekarampillai, Derek Kwan, Gaitrie Persaud and Suchiththa Wickremesooriya.
