Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival is North America’s largest documentary festival, screening over 200 compelling documentaries from Canada and around the world. This year’s Festival will run from April 25 to May 5.

Hot Docs is committed to reducing barriers and increasing accessibility to our screenings.  This year, we are thrilled to be offering 30-35 captioned films, including some open captioned screenings and over 20 live captioned Q&As.

Accessible film screenings and Q&As will be announced on March 19, and tickets will go on sale March 26.

Visit hotdocs.ca/access to see the list of films, buy tickets and learn more about accessing Hot Docs screenings and venues.

We are also very excited to be giving away some community tickets to local accessibility-led organizations and members of the Deaf community.

To get your tickets, email [email protected] to receive a promo code that you can use to redeem up to 2 free tickets to any captioned film screening. Tickets are first come, first served and are subject to availability. Enjoy the festival!
